It is so easy to forget a name, usually because you either didn't make the effort to learn it or you were too preoccupied making a good first impression.  At conference time or just for any special event you need to identify people and make it easy for them to identify others.  You can also add you branding to every attendee with a printed lanyard around every neck.  Alternatively you may need to identify guests at the factory or offices and a name tag or lanyard says "back stage pass for a VIP" better than any introduction.
